Wor(l)d of Morrissey
We're back! Welcome to the world of Morrissey's lyrics.

This site and all of the work made to keep it updated during the last 25 years are dedicated to my beloved friend MaCa65 who suddenly left this lonely planet
and me without words. Throughout the short stretch of time that we have been given to spend together as close friends, we shared many things,
thoughts, passions and some bits of Life. Back in 1983, together we discovered a band called The Smiths and together since then, we followed Morrissey's career
as one of the most influential and inspiring singer/artist/poet of our age. Maca65 has always been a strong supporter since when I first launched WoM,
so this is and will always be entirely for you, my friend. -- David

Now My Heart Is Full

There's gonna be some trouble
A whole house will need re-building
And everyone I love in the house
Will recline on an analyst's couch quite soon
Your Father cracks a joke
And in the usual way
Empties the room

Tell all of my friends
(I don't have too many
Just some rain-coated lovers' puny brothers)
Dallow, Spicer, Pinkie, Cubitt
Rush to danger
Wind up nowhere
Patric Doonan - raised to wait
I'm tired again, I've tried again, and

Now my heart is full
Now my heart is full
And I just can't explain
So I won't even try to

Dallow, Spicer, Pinkie, Cubitt
Every jammy Stressford poet
Loafing oafs in all-night chemists
Loafing oafs in all-night chemists
Underact - express depression
Ah, but Bunnie I loved you
I was tired again
I've tried again, and

Now my heart is full
Now my heart is full
And I just can't explain
So I won't even try to

Could you pass by?
Could you pass by?
Will you pass by?
Could you pass by?
Could you pass by?
Oh ...

Now my heart is full
Now my heart is full
And I just can't explain
So ... slow ... Slow ...

Dallow, Spicer, Pinkie, Cubitt are all characters of "Brighton Rock", a 1947 movie directed by John Boulting and taken from Graham Greene's homonymous novel.

Dico a tutti i miei amici
(non ne ho molti,
solo pochi gracili fratelli di amanti in impermeabile)
Dallow, Spicer, Pinkie, Cubitt
corrono incontro al pericolo
non vanno da nessuna parte
Patric Doonan - alzatosi per aspettare
Sono di nuovo stanco - di nuovo ho tentato ma

ora il mio cuore è colmo
ora il mio cuore è colmo
e non so proprio spiegarlo
perciò non ci proverò neppure

Dallow, Spicer, Pinkie, Cubitt
qualunque poeta appiccicoso di Stressford
tangheri perditempo nelle farmacie notturne
tangheri perditempo nelle farmacie notturne
recitano male - esprimono depressione
ah, ma Bunnie io ti ho amato
Ero di nuovo stanco
Ho tentato ancora, ma

ora il mio cuore è colmo
ora il mio cuore è colmo
e non so proprio spiegarlo
perciò non ci proverò neppure

Potresti passare di qui?
Potresti passare di qui?
Passerai di qui?
Potresti passare di qui?
Potresti passare di qui?
Oh...
Ora il mio cuore è colmo
Ora il mio cuore è colmo
E non so proprio spiegarlo
Così, piano.. piano..
