Wor(l)d of Morrissey
We're back! Welcome to the world of Morrissey's lyrics.

This site and all of the work made to keep it updated during the last 25 years are dedicated to my beloved friend MaCa65 who suddenly left this lonely planet
and me without words. Throughout the short stretch of time that we have been given to spend together as close friends, we shared many things,
thoughts, passions and some bits of Life. Back in 1983, together we discovered a band called The Smiths and together since then, we followed Morrissey's career
as one of the most influential and inspiring singer/artist/poet of our age. Maca65 has always been a strong supporter since when I first launched WoM,
so this is and will always be entirely for you, my friend. -- David

Hi All , Even if I really dont have nothing against homosexuality, I would like to tell that I live in Roma since I was born in 1976 and is not true at all that "Piazza cavour" is a "gay cruising area" of course in Roma there are many places you can call "gay cruising area" but not Piazza Cavour. Ciao DIEGO

Mi piace immaginare il Moz che da solo scopre le bellezze di Roma. Forse per un momento ha sentito il peso della storia su ciņ che lo circondava. Tutto questo non puņ che influire positivamente sulla sua produzione artistica. "The dream has gone but the baby is real..."

My wine-friend, Louise mad this observation to me: His lyric is unbelievably cutting. Accatone was a character in a Pasolini film who was a hardened, nasty pimp in Rome who cried when his main girl died, not our of grief for her but for her lost income. Anna Magnani was an amazing actress and worked for both Pasolini and Visconti. She was a true godess. To say you'll always be a nasty piece of work and never a godness is, well, quite rough really. . . Good old Mozzer!
